Debbie Haggerty – Owner, Strategy, Print and Digital
Debbie caught the Advertising bug in 1986 at her first job out of college working for NW Ayer, then a top 10 New York Ad Agency. In the 25+ years since, she has remained fascinated by the ever-changing media landscape and relishes the opportunity to develop recommendations that bring an advertiser’s message to the right consumers, in a compelling way, for the right price.
After leaving New York City in 1988, Debbie moved to Boston, where she worked for Arnold, Fidelity Investments, Ingalls Advertising, and Wallwork Curry. During her 13+ years in Agency Media Departments, Debbie rose from Assistant Planner to Media Director. Among the Clients she served were Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, AT&T, BCBS of MA, Kinney Shoes, Puma, Tretorn, Etonic, Fleet Bank, Fidelity Investments, TJ Maxx, Raytheon, Neighborhood Health Plan, Domain Home Furnishings, and Cole Haan.
In 2000, Debbie had the opportunity to start her own media agency, Mediaworks. The model is a simple one that she believed would give Clients the best of a “big agency” experience in a small, accessible setting. Mediaworks is staffed by senior level professionals exclusively, and each Client works with a lead team member who manages everything from front end strategy development to rate negotiation and plan implementation. For the past 13 years, our team has become valued members of our Clients and partners’ marketing departments, and that’s just the way we like it.
When not planning or consuming media, Debbie can be found at the Yoga studio, in the garden, or planning her next travel adventure with her family – husband Bryan, and daughters Annabel and Maeve.

Frank Giovaniello – Chief Financial Officer
Frank might be Mediaworks’ most overqualified team member, but we like him anyway. He brings to the role of CFO an almost fanatical level of organization, financial acumen and precision. Mediaworks offers clients full media billing services, thanks to Frank’s zeal for all things Agency billing. Frank has been with Mediaworks since day 1.
Houston Effler was Frank’s first stop on the Agency tour. He was there 5 years as Agency Comptroller involved in financial oversight for all aspects of the Agency’s business. Accounts included Castrol, Converse, BayBank (BankBoston), Fidelity Investments, Hannaford Bros., ITT Hartford, Midas and NEC. It is in Frank’s nature to be conservative and extremely detail oriented, which makes him any Agency and Client’s dream when it comes to the management of Client media billings.
When not writing checks, Frank can be found snapping photos of his infant son Bryce or walking Murray—or is it the other way around?
